Each used grass patch can be composted or placed in green bins, making the impact on the environment a little less harsh, something that is extremely important to us.
Alternatively, if these options arenβt available to you, the old patch can be placed in the compostable bag that the new patch was delivered in, and then disposed of in a regular bin which will allow it to still decompose.
easy maintenance
Apart from disposing of and changing the grass patch once you receive your replacement delivery, the only maintenance required is a gentle 10 second watering every few days and to pick up the number twos (we flush them down the toilet).
The grass patch will thrive about the same in sun, part sun, or no sun at all.
no bad odour
The Dog Toilet comes with a layer of Organic Lawn Soil which absorbs urine and helps to keep the grass patch alive, although it will not establish roots and live forever & urea kills grass over time.
The grass patch can then be replaced weekly, fortnightly, three weekly or monthly based on your preference.
